Ready for a Change?

James 1:19-20 says, “So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God” (Unless otherwise stated: Scripture is taken from the New King James Version®. Consider how the world would change if this one exhortation were obeyed today.

What would happen to crime?

How would the workplace be different?

What kind of revolution would take place in families?

How would it affect you?

God’s Word is living and powerful (Heb 4:12). It is God’s means through which He converts the soul and gives wisdom (Ps 19:7-8).

Learning from, and heeding, what the Bible teaches transforms us, renews our minds, and proves God’s will (Rom 12:2).

If you are impressed with how the application of one piece of Scripture could change the world, wouldn’t you like to see what would happen if everyone strove to emulate God’s righteousness? If so, the most important step starts with you. You are the only one who can do your part to grow in God’s plan for your life. It begins with learning the Scriptures and living them.
