Who or What is the Antichrist? You Can Know!

Did you know that what most people think “antichrist” means is not remotely related to how the word is used in the New Testament? Today, many connect the word to figures in the book of The Revelation of John, but it does not appear in that book. John used “antichrist” in the letters of First and Second John, and he was the only one to use it.

You can learn what “antichrist” means by reading the texts in which the words appear. Read these verses and answer the questions: I John 2:18-23; I John 3:24-4:6; II John 4-11

Who is the antichrist?

How many?

When will they come?

Where will they come from?

What is an antichrist?

Congratulations! If you have answered the questions from the verses where the word appears, you should have a better understanding of the biblical description of “antichrist.”

How is this different from what you have seen?

What are some other biblical words that have been taken and redefined, creating false doctrines?

I’d love to hear from you,

Van
